Logan CDC’s real estate strategy is support and work in tangent to the overall organizational mission to improve quality of life for Logan residents and businesses. The long term vision is to use development as a tactic to revitalize the streets and buildings, encourage and promote culturally sustainable developments, and find innovative solutions to neighborhood issues. This will shape a vibrant neighborhood, with a diversity of businesses and households creating a new destination in North Philadelphia to live, work and play.
Our goal is to purchase real estate to produce new residential units and encourage home ownership at various levels of affordability, update and revamp commercial spaces making them more consumer-friendly, and encourage mixed used development as a revitalization tool for a more walk-able pedestrian oriented neighborhood.
